Blanket Edging

Updated: May 19, 2020

This is one of my favourite edgings for shawl and blankets as it is easy to do and falls beautifully.

yfwd – yarn forward. Place yarn to the front of your work then over the needle to knit the next stitch

Stretchy cast off knit two stitches from the left hand needle,* insert left hand needle from front to back in both stitches, knit them together through the back of the loops and slip off the needle. One stitch remains on your right hand needle. Knit next stitch from left hand needle then repeat from *

Using either 4mm or 5mm needles cast on 20 sts using the two needle method
