Sorry to leave you so long without another post. Feeling a little more like myself today so here we go.
With black yarn pick up 10sts along the left edge of block 8 and 20sts along block 7.
Working in Black knit -
If you are picking up L - R 4 rows
R - L - 5rows
Change colour
Row 1 - *k1,P1* repeat until end of row
Row2 - *p1,k1* repeat until end of row
Work rows 1- 2 4 times in all
Change to black and knit 4 rows
Change back to colour and work rows 1 -2 until work fits nicely to fill the gap along block 5
Cast off
Sew the piece to the edge of block 5.
